“The Trees Have Eyes” is an ode to the physical and emotional impact that humans have on nature as a result of the ways we interact with our environment.  Trees are the embodiment of life; they breathe in our carbon and breathe out our oxygen. The series shows how we are nature and nature is us.  As a steward of the environment, I think it is important to engage my audience with captivating and engaging photographs depicting how we cannot separate ourselves from what is around us.

I drew inspiration from my travels through the Americas as a science student. The trees have lived through generations; they know our stories. I invite you to connect with the trees and to reflect on how you have impacted, and will be impacted by, these powerful souls.
